Coach Michelle was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She attended school through Hempfield Area School District, from kindergarten to when she graduated in 2013. Coach Heater played volleyball in middle school and high school. Now, she is coaching alongside Head Coach, Susan Gibala who was actually her teacher and volleyball coach in school. Coach Heater was also Coach Gibala’s Student Assistant for the Harrold Middle School Girls Volleyball team while she attended high school.

Not only does Coach Heater have a love for the sport of volleyball but strives to help other people, which is why she became a coach. She has a passion for working with children seeing that she is a compassionate Mother herself. She worked in customer service for several years while she was acquiring Paralegal and Criminal Justice degrees. She then worked at a law firm as a legal secretary for a few years before taking time to focus on her family.

This is Coach Heater’s first year coaching at Courtside but she is focused, optimistic,  a quick learner and thinks outside of the box which will come through in her coaching. She will be enthusiastic, patient and supportive while helping the athletes develop their volleyball skills.
