Coach Maura moved to Pittsburgh from Atlanta in 2018 in order to attend Duquesne University, graduating with biology and health science degrees in 2023, and she now resides here with her little baby cat Franco. During her volleyball career she played as a setter for indoor for 5 years and as a generalized player in beach for 3, qualifying for nationals in both. She coached for two years as an assistant at A5 and is excited to get back to coaching the sport and helping the girls learn with her signature enthusiasm and passion.
