Coach Emma has played volleyball for the past 25 years and has coached for the past 7. She grew up in California and spent the majority of her playing years on Golden Bears, a club volleyball team where she qualified for the junior olympics/nationals at age 17. While she was unable to complete the season because of a concussion, she went on to play at Carnegie Mellon, where she graduated with honors in degrees in management, art, and creative writing. In 2018 she took over Court Time's old program and developed it into Courtside Volleyball Club, which has grown and developed as a program each year since. Emma has coached at every age level, and she currently owns and runs the club as well as works as an artist.
